A very eerie coincidence

As many of you know in September 2009 I “retired” from the Private Investigations field to open the Page 233 Bookstore in Amherstburg, ON.

Recently, I picked up the latest novel – “When Angels Fail To Fly” – and opened it to page 233. At this point in the story P.I. Steve Cassidy has decided to check into the past of the dead woman to which the title refers. The last line on the page – written 2 years ago and formatted for print in early 2009 - completely blew me away:

“Is there a bookstore around here?”

Fate? Divine Intervention? Coincidence?

With this revelation, I now tend to think my new career path really was meant to be.
